It's Time to Make a Change
It can be difficult to find the right place to build your business. But after nearly 20 years and 2,000 transactions I've learned a few things that have taught me what I need to run a thriving real estate business and still enjoy a good quality-of-life.
First, lets acknowledge that deciding on a brokerage is no easy task and it can make or break the fate of your real estate business. On one hand small, locally owned brokerages don’t have the proper systems in place to provide you with the most up-to-date, innovative tools. On the other hand, large national brokerages or franchises may have the tools, but they will come with a feeling of being more of a number than an agent with professional opinions. These brokerages charge agents a high monthly cost to their agents for access to tools leaving you, the agent, with high operating costs even before you can get started.
My aim is to provide an environment that is in the middle of those two atmospheres. I endeavor to fill the void that brokerages leave and allow our office’s agents conditions to inspire and curate innovation while focusing on their clients. The real estate business is constantly evolving and it takes support and backing from an office that has front line feet on the ground to trudge forward and get in front of those changes so their agents don’t get left behind. It took me years of hard work and constant financial investment to build an office that can provide the right mix of personal and administrative support while providing technology and marking tools backed by the most respected brokerage in the region.
Above all, we insist on maintaining a positive environment where agents can rely on ownership, staff, and on each other for support. No agent at our office will ever be viewed as a number or feel as if they can’t have one-on-one support every day, and that is the core of how we feel a business should be run. We offer the tools and resources of a large brokerage with the personal guidance and feel of a small office, and that is exactly what I’ve found gives agents the room to grow their business.
