Diane has been a resident of Frederick County since 1970. She raised two children here and has been closely involved with several businesses over the years. Her children and grandchildren reside in Frederick as well.  The exposure that all these endeavors have afforded her make Diane uniquely able to understand her clients wants and needs. She enjoys working with both the long-time resident and the newcomer. Building long term relationships has been her goal and her privilege. There are many clients that have come back to Diane for the ethical and caring service she provides as many as 4, 5, 6+ times.

Prior to starting a career in real estate, Diane was fortunate enough to spend a great deal of time working alongside many interesting people in the Frederick community to help transform Frederick City into a vital business center and an excellent place to work and reside. These endeavors included:

– Working with the Frederick Preservationists, a group that was dedicated to helping Frederick City retain it’s historic appeal while also making it an appealing and practical place to live and work.

– Serving on the first lay committee that was formed after “the great flood” to investigate ways to prevent this from recurring.  This group was an incubator for many ideas that eventually led to the development of the Carroll Creek Linear Park.

– Working for several years with a small group of residents spear heading the raising of funds for the renovation of the building that is The Weinberg Center for the Arts.  Diane participated each year and one year headed the annual benefit auction, which was the main fundraising effort.

– Serving on the Frederick City Planning and Zoning Commission for seven years as Frederick grappled with growth and infrastructure in an effort to develop a vibrant and attractive community that is capable of serving a diverse population.

Diane has sold real estate in Frederick County for 27 years and looks forward to the continuing challenge of helping clients buy and sell homes.  She understands that it is a must to be knowledgeable, responsive and available.  She understands that real   estate is not just about how many properties you sell, but about how well you sell those properties.  In the end, real estate sales are still about people and choices.  She considers it her job to provide caring and insightful guidance.
